Obituary of Julia Cruz Diaz

Obituary Julia passed away peacefully on July 17, 2020. She was born in Guam. A 50 year Monterey Peninsula resident. She was Mama to all her grandchildren. A beloved matriarch of her family. She met her husband Juan when she was employed at the Bank of Guam. They married and since Juan joined the military, relocated stateside to his new duty station. Traveling to different locations during his military career. After Juan retired from the military they chose the Monterey Peninsula as their home. She is survived by her daughters: Janet (Melvin), Janice and Lori (Paul), 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 siblings and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan and a great grandson. The advice and lessons she taught us will be practiced through generations of family and fondly remembered. She was strong and fulfilled many tasks to meet the needs of her loved ones. Always making sacrifices to ensure family was well taken care of. She will be cherished and deeply missed by all her family. Her legacy will live forever in each of our hearts and souls. May she rest in peace.
