Obituary of Hildegard Bruno

Hildegard Bruno, 85 years old, died peacefully at home on November 5, 2020 in Monterey California.  She was born in Cologne, Germany where she met her husband, an American Air Force Serviceman, Stanley Richard Bruno.  They were married for 64 years before the death of Stanley in 2018.  

Hildegard was a long-time employee of Hewlett-Packard where she retired in 1991 and lived in Cupertino, California for 50 years prior to moving to Monterey.  Hildegard loved playing bridge, making cards and having weekly lunches with her lady friends, and she cherished her five children, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  She is survived by her children Stanley A. Bruno, Dirk Bruno (Christine), Glenn Bruno (Jennifer), Linda Bruno, and Scott Bruno; her grandchildren Joshua Bruno, Mark Bruno (Meagan), Brent Bruno, Justin Denoyer (Wendi), Christopher Denoyer (Alisha), Brittany Denoyer, and Jessica Bruno.  Her great-grandchildren adored her; Cruz and Marlee Bruno; Julie, Blake and Reid Denoyer; Shane and Mackenzie Denoyer; and Zoee Hart Hawley.  Her smile and laughter will be missed by many.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th, 11:00 a.m. at 450 Camino El Estero in Monterey, California.  A celebration of her life will be held later in the day.
