Margaret Ann Carroll peacefully passed in her sleep on a beautiful Friday afternoon At the Carmel Hills care center where she has been a resident for the past three years. She was 78 years young. Her loving husband Gene Carroll previously departed over two and half years ago. Margaret is survived by her three devoted children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Phil Carroll and fiancé Wendy Kattenhorn. Laureen Seib And William Seib and Bill Carroll and Lorrie Madison. She was a mother, teacher and friend to all. She loved her three children more than life itself. She was a stay at home mother until her kids began school and she then followed them to Bayview school becoming a teachers aid ,a PE teacher ,and a cafeteria helper. She worked there several years. It was a job very dear to her heart. She then switched careers to Manager at Edgewater Packing Company on Cannery Row. From working in the restaurant to running the carousel and arcade. Margaret then opened up her own little business called Grandma’s Walk Away Kitchen .
She was always a hard worker and loved to interact with everybody. Margaret was a beautiful woman inside and out truly a great Lady.
She had a great sense of humor and vigor for life. Loved reading, Cooking, and spending time going to the movies or eating out with family and friends. Margaret is so loved will be sadly missed.
The family will hold a private service following with a Celebration of life gathering for friends on October 28th at 5pm at 1214 funston pacific grove, ca 93950.
