Obituary of Kamal Nimri

Resident of Marina Kamal Nimri, age 67, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Kamal was born in Jordan to Salem and Mariam Nimri. He was the youngest of seven children. Kamal came as a student to the United States in 1969 and studied at Redlands University and California Baptist College in Riverside. He shared 15 years of marriage with Diana Lea Chute. Kamal is survived by his son Sami Nimri, his brothers Issa, Nabih, Samir, George, Dr. Wadie and many nieces and nephews. Kamal was a huge sports fan and his favorite teams were the Lakers and the Raiders. Kamal known to many by “Ken” was known for his gentle nature and caring heart. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed. Kamal was preceded in death by his parents: Salem and Mariam Nimri, and sister Badia Nimri. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 26, 2016 at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. in Pacific Grove. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery. Service Information
