Obituary of Janet Virginia Fowler

Janet was born on January 8, 1954, in San Francisco, CA. She passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was raised in Seaside, CA and attended the local schools. She drove a school bus in San Jose for several years then went to work for the local transit company in Monterey. Recently she worked as a caregiver to the elderly. She was predeceased by her parents Larry and Diane Simi, her husband John Fowler and her brother in law, Tom Di Maggio. She is survived by her son Chris Michael Fowler (Rebecca) and her first grandchild Mays Lawrence, her sister Sandra Di Maggio, her brother Keith Simi and nieces, nephews and cousins. Janet loved all her animals and most recently her beloved dogs. Donations, on behalf of Janet, may be made to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, Pacific Grove.
