Obituary of Horace Flores

Les passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Born in Pittsburg Ca. to Paul and Rose Flores. He had a large family of six siblings, Joseph Flores, Vince Flores, Neno Flores, Mary Russo, Angie Ferrante, Mami Sposito. After graduating Pittsburg High he then came to Monterey to fish with his Uncle before he joined the US Navy. In Monterey he met the love of his life Eva Randazzo. They were married in Monterey on June 6, 1954 where they raised their four children, Roselyn Real (Manuel), Paul Flores (Linda), Gus Flores (Jody), and Les Flores. After the Navy Les became a carpenter and worked for Daniels and House while also fishing Alaska in the summer with his sons on the boat he named Eva. After retirement he enjoyed helping each of his children build their homes. His greatest love was spending time with his family and vacationing. He loved watching the SF Giants, listening to Italian music in the morning and enjoyed a fulfilling happy life. Les was respected and deeply loved by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Eva, his four children, twelve grandchildren, Victoria, Eva, Roselyn, Les, Andres, Paul, Marco, Nicole, Gus, Blake, Les and Antonio. Great grandchildren, Jayce, Tristyn, Jackson, Victoria, Kody, Olivia, Ava, Zachary and Aiden. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shrine of Saint Jude or San Carlos Cathedral.
