Obituary of Mark F. Jones

Mark was born to Bobby and Gertrude Jones at Ft. Ord, CA. and passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Monterey High School. Upon graduation he worked in the hardware and lumber trades before entering into the construction field. In construction he first worked for John D. Simpson before going on to own and operate his own trucking business, M F J Trucking and working locally. Mark and his soul mate Sandy (Myrick) raised 3 children in their 31 beautiful years together. He enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He could be found many times at the Wharf or at a lake teaching his children how to fish and appreciating the time he was able to spend with his wife and kids being the best husband and Father anyone could ask for. Mark was preceded in death by his Father Bobby, Mother Gertrude and Brother Bobby Jr. he is survived by his wife Sandy, their children Mark Jr., Justen and Heidi as well as his sister Marianne. Mark’s family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to his doctors for their excellent care. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Saturday September 24th from 12-3 pm at Monterey Moose Lodge. Service Information
