Obituary of Frances Russo

On January 29th, Frances Russo passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September, 1, 1920 to Marco and Francesca Lucido in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Checkie" Russo and her brothers Ray and Sarino Lucido. She is survived by her sister, Betty Lucido, children, Anna Jean Costa, Cesca(Frank) Enea, Antone (Anne) Russo, Michelle(Greg) Campbell and Mark Russo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She attended San Carlos Cathedral regularly and was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. with a vigil starting at 7:00 p.m. both at San Carlos Cathedral, 500 Church St., Monterey. Funeral mass wil be celebrated on Wednesday, February 3rd at 9:30 a.m. also at San Carlos Cathedral. Private family burial will follow at San Carlos Cemetery.
