Obituary of Paulette Simon

Obituary Paulette Madelein Simon passed away June 6, 2020 at the age of 96 at the Carmel Hills Care Facility in Monterey, California. She was born in Goersdof, France on February 23, 1924. Fittingly, she was liberated from her earthly body on the 76th Anniversary of D-Day when France was being liberated from the Germans. She was a seventeen to twenty year old French girl during the German Occupation. She is survived by her son, Alan M. Simon and his wife, Karen of Independence, MO and his daughter Kirsten V. Simon of Akron, IA; her son Steven P. Simon and his wife, Kristi of Placerville, CA; her son Eric T. Simon of Carmel Valley, CA. She was preceeded in death by her sons’ father, Thomas M. Simon, and all of her siblings. In keeping with her nature, funeral services will be private and for immediate family only.
