Dear Grace and family, I recently learned of Peter's passing. He was a bright star in this challenging world, generous and caring. I am so glad I had opportunity to work with him at the Naval Post Graduate School and to get to know you as well. It is quite the coincidence that I now live a few miles outside of Seattle, an area that meant so much to him. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that you are in my prayers. Carolyn Quinn

Dear Grace and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was a legend to me and the entire peninsula...I thought he was larger than life. Through the years that I knew Peter, we worked some Real Estate projects together and he was always so kind and grateful for any and all help I gave him. A true gentleman and a scholar. I will miss him every time I drive by "Gracie Lane." My sincerest condolences. Joy Jacobs

Grace and Family, I want to express by deepest sorry in Peter's passing; he was such a smart and wonderful man; I read his obit in the SF Chronicle today (06/07/2020); such an interesting life story. I had conducted some geologic studies for Peter on a couple of properties in Monterey Co. dating back at least (or more than) 15 yrs. I enjoyed working on those properties; and also his more recent comments posted on FB. I remember meeting both of you at a restaurant on State Hwy 68 and discussing our uncanny common links with Tacoma, WA (Peter at PLU in the late 1950s and me at UPS in the early 1970s) and Eugene, OR (Peter at UO in the early 1960s and me at UO in 1975); although Peter was about 15 yrs older than me. I met Mr. Wang when I was president of Rasmussen Land Surveying. He asked that we do some work for him on his (then) property in Jamesburg, Carmel Valley. He impressed me as a person with great knowledge, patience and humbleness. I've always remembered, and still do, these qualities. I am very glad to have met him.
