Obituary of Sara Jenkins

Sara Ann (Carpenter) Jenkins left this world on Saturday, June 10th, 2017, at her home on the Monterey Peninsula. Sara was born on September 28, 1970 in Charleston, West Virginia, where she was raised. Ever proud of her southern roots, Sara brought that southern charm to the West Coast and became a true 'California Girl". Her kind heart and generous spirit ensured that she made good friends wherever she was. Her fun loving spirit led her on many great adventures. Her sweet smile could light up any room. Sara proudly and diligently worked for the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in the Sleep Disorder Center. Her shining professionalism and caring nature helped to put her many patients at ease; something she took great pride in. She is survived by her "boys" - sons, Ryan and Justin; her parents Robert "Skip" Carpenter and Diana Fore, and brother, Robert - all of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her beloved Granny. She will be greatly missed by her many adoring friends - her California family. Services will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 1pm at The Monterey Beach House, 285 Figueroa Street, Monterey.
