Cheryl Rowe

Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Rowe

With great sadness we said goodbye to our wonderful sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Cheryl was born in Carmel California and attended Pacific Grove Schools. She worked in the hospitality industry in her early years and then spent 5 years working at the Defense Language Institute in the recreation department. The job she loved the most was working at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies the last 14 years where she worked as their cashier helping students with tuition and managing special programs. She loved that everyone was like family and she made many friends. Cheryl enjoyed many water sports, camping, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays. She had a love for horses especially her own Lips and Blue and of course her dog Buddy that passed away in October. She could sit and watch the ocean for hours; it was one of her favorite pass times. She was passionate about all her friendships in which she had many close friends that were dear to her. Cheryl is preceded in death by her son Justin Bossard, her mother & father John and Lucille Rowe, 2 brothers Ronnie and Michael and a sister Patricia. She is survived by a sister and brother Brenda and John (Pam), 3 nephews John III, Jeremy (Muzi), Jarrod and 1 niece Pamela Janakes (David). Her cousins Donna Garcia, Diane Quimby (Randy), Glenda Kelley (Harald), Sherry Brady which she spent many vacations and holidays with and 4 lifetime friends Kris Brooks (George), Gail Nonella, Marilyn Wilson and Kristy Kensill who were like sisters to her. Cheryl will be missed and remembered by so many. A private family service will be held at Mission Mortuary. A reception to Celebrate Cheryl’s life will be scheduled at a later date
